A Rio Grande Valley native believes she may have uncovered a miracle while walking on a beach in California.
Felicia Avila said she now lives in just outiside Los Angeles in Norwalk, California but found a seashell while walking on the beach with her family.
The 17-year-old claims the sea shell has the image of the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus.
Others told her they see the image of an angel in the upper right hand corner.
"There have been many reported stories of holy images on different items, yet i believe this to be a true sign from the heavens," Avila wrote.
The 17-year-old said she's keeping the shell near and dear.
"I want to get this image out to other families and the media to show that there are signs of faith all around us," she wrote Action 4 News.
