Fugitive Finder - Sex offender on parole disappears

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Office of Inspector General (TDCJ-OIG) needs your help in catching a convicted sex offender.

Investigators said Hector Alberto Montion Lara, 36, “violated a 13-year old family friend during an overnight stay” at a home.

He was charged with of Indecency with a child with sexual contact, violent tendencies (2nd degree felony) and failure to comply with sex offender charges (3rd degree felony).

Lara’s parole was revoked in 2004 by State Parole.

His last known address is 4700 Block of North 11th Street in McAllen.

The 36-year-old is a United States citizen.  He has family ties in Mexico, and could possibly be hiding in the Reynosa, Mexico area.

Lara is 5’6 and weights about 160lbs.  He has brown eyes and black hair.

Lara has tattoos on right forearm, upper right arm, abdomen, upper left arm and left hand.

Please help the TDCJ-OIG get Lara off the streets, and help keep our community safe.
