Mission police are searching for Antonio Mendez.

The 40-year-old man is wanted on charges of engaging in organized crime and capital murder.

It all happened during the early morning hours of June 24th, 2010.

Mendez and three other armed men allegedly stormed the home of Reyes Garcia and shot him multiple times.

Mission police said Reyes' four children, his wife and a family friend were inside at the time of the murder.

They were not harmed but investigators said a surveillance camera caught the crime on tape.

In the time after the deadly shooting, Mission police have caught three of the suspects, including Garcia’s wife.

But Mendez is still on the run.

Investigators said Mendez also goes by "Tony" and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer.

If you know where to find him, call Mission Crime Stoppers at (956) 581-TIPS.
