Authorities are searching for four men who were caught on tape during a smash and grab robbery at a jewelry store inside McAllen’s La Plaza Mall.
It all happened at the Deutsch & Deutsch jewelry store around 10:15 a.m. Monday.
Investigators told Action 4 News that the four men walked into the store, smashed several display cases and stole the jewelry inside.
Police reported that an undetermined amount of jewelry was stolen.
The men fled the scene in a grey Ford pickup truck, which was later found on the 1000 block of West Kenedy Avenue.
The neighborhood where the truck was found is located just across Expressway 83 from La Plaza Mall.
Investigators said there were no injuries while the case remains under investigation.
The suspects have not been identified but police said they are all adult males and spoke in English.
The whole incident was caught on tape by store security cameras.
