Zeke Silva is back on the ballot for Brownsville City Commissioner District 2.
Brownsville City Secretary Estella Von Hatten sent him a letter today reinstating him as a candidate.
The letter states that through an SBA Loan that Silva acquired, he underwent an extensive background check which was cleared through the Office of the Inspector General and the Office of Security Operations in Washington, D.C.
The city secretary states that the loan information along with Silva’s attorney’s information on file and a valid application for candidacy is enough to reinstate him as a candidate on the ballot of the upcoming May 14, 2011 election.
