Chalk it up as another Cinderella story on Food 4 Thought!
A former low performer restaurant owner in McAllen, infamous for his threatening “hardball” comment to the Food Patrol in 2007, is now all smiles over a top performer sticker.
Don Juan’s on 1610 North 23rd Street scored zero demerits on a health report.
The Food Patrol hasn’t spoken to the owner since the incident four years ago.
Many Food Patrol fans blacklisted the eatery because of the owner’s refusal to follow health rules and attitude on the program back then.
But just like the amazing turn around in his kitchen to clean, Don Juan Saenz has also completely changed his attitude toward the Food Patrol.
