Valley forecast calls for freezing temps, wintry mix

The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a wind chill warning and a hard freeze warning for the Rio Grande Valley.

An arctic blast has settled in the area and is expected to drop temperatures into the 20s tonight.

The wind chill makes some areas of the Valley feel like 19 degrees Fahrenheit.

Forecasters are expecting a 'wintry mix' of precipitation on Wednesday night that could include sleet.

The same scenario is epxected to repeat on Thursday night.
