Call it the magic of having nine lives but one little cat who was stuck on a rooftop for days without food or water made a miraculous jump off the roof La Plaza Mall.
Rescuers said the cat spent has been on the roof of a Sears department store since Friday despite cold temperatures.
It's not clear how the cat got on the roof but several Action4 News viewers sent in emails about it.
The McAllen Fire Department arrived to to help rescue it on Tuesday morning.
But when mall employees jumped up on the roof to feed it and bring it to safety, the cat made a jump for it.
Everyone including our Action 4 News crew searched for the cat but he was nowhere to be found.
