Brownsville man arrested for exposing himself at gas station

A Brownsville man remains behind bars after he allegedly exposed himself to people outside a downtown gas station.

Brownsville police arrested 50-year-old Macario Ramos on an indecent exposure charge on Friday evening.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Ramos was outside a Stripe convenience store on the 1100 block of International Boulevard.

A man and his wife allegedly saw Ramos pull down a skirt he was wearing, expose himself, urinate and then sexually gratify himself in public.

Officer located Ramos at the scene and arrested him.

Ramos appeared before a Brownsville municipal judge on Saturday morning where he was issued a $2,000 dollar bond.

As of Monday morning, the 50-year-old homeless man remains behind bars at the Cameron County Jail.
