AT&T has a number of advertisements highlighting the dangers of texting and driving. It's all part of AT&T's "Let It Wait Campaign".
"This campaign in and of itself drives the actual urgency of realizing that if you look at your last text is it real worth replying to while your driving 65 miles an hour", Sergio Contreras of AT&T said. "More than likely it can wait."
A nationwide insurance study found one in seven drivers admits sending text messages in the driver's seat among 18 to 24 year olds it's even higher, one of every two drivers.
"It's really your life and others that are at risk if you are texting and driving", said Contreras.
AT&T representatives hope by promoting a strong message others will pay attention. Don't forget to take the Action 4 News pledge and "Let It Ring".
