Authorities have released surveillance photos in hopes of catching a man who allegedly robbed an IBC Bank in downtown Pharr.

The robbery took place at the IBC Bank at 401 South Cage Boulevard around 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Pharr police told Action 4 News that a black male wearing a red hoodie walked into the bank with a bag.

The man handed the teller a note asking for all the money in their box.

The clerk complied and handed the suspect several hundred dollars.

The man got away but police are releasing photos taken from surveillance cameras in hope of learning his identity.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Pharr Police Department at (956) 787-8477.
