Authorities are releasing new information that led to the arrest of eleven teens including five Harlingen High School football players.

A concerned citizen called Harlingen Police at 3:40 a.m. to report seeing suspicious people at a vacant home on the 400 block of Oregon Street.

The owner of the property arrived at the location and unlocked the residence for police.

Sgt. John Parrish said “officers found various alcoholic beverages and made contact with 11 subjects (all under-aged minors)”.

All eleven teens were arrested.  According to the police report, both Daniel Castro, 17, and Darian Reyes, 17,  were in possession of marijuana.

Here a list of teens arrested and their charges:

Nathaniel Webb, 18-years-old, Possession of Alcohol by Minor
Robert Garcia, 17-years-old, Possession of Alcohol by Minor
Ryan Monciviaz, 17-years-old, Possession of Alcohol by Minor
Patrick Ulloa, 17-years-old,  Possession of Alcohol by Minor
Michael Gonzalez, 18-years-old,  Possession of Alcohol by Minor
Darian Reyes, 17-years-old  Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Alcohol by Minor, Possession of Tabacco

Daniel Castro  17-years-old  Possession of Alcohol by Minor, Possession of Marijuana

On Monday, Webb, Garcia Monciviaz, Ulloa and Gonzalez were released from jail.  All posted a $312.00 dollar bond on Saturday.  Reyes and Castro were not released until Sunday.

Harlingen police also arrested issued citations to four juveniles for possession of alcohol by minor and consumption of alcoholic beverages.  The were all “released to their parents” Saturday night said Sgt. Parrish.

Action 4 News has confirmed that Web, Monciviaz, Gonzalez, Castro and Ulloa all play for the Harlingen Cardinal football team.
