Flooding across the Rio Grande Valley

Heavy rain has caused major flooding for portions of the Valley this morning.

Heavy rain began well after midnight, causing what has already been saturated grounds to become flooded.

Between 5 and 6 am, portions of Cameron County started to Flood.

There are Reports this morning of 60 homes flooded along and near Calle Galaxia....west side of town.

Parades Line Road is also flooded from Paseo Plaza North to the T-Mobile offices.

In Los Fresnos this morning, portions of Texas 100 has been shut down and traffic is being detoured.

The valley has seen between 5-6 inches of rain since Friday and with more rain on the way, more flooding will be on the rise as well.
