The rain couldn't stop golfers from coming out to have a good time and support a good cause.
The Rio Grande Valley Partnership's 23rd annual Valley Proud Golf Tournament took place at the Los Lagos Golf Course in Los Fresnos on Friday.
The tournament was sponsored by KGBT-TV and the Action 4 News "Fugitive Finder" series, which airs Monday nights.
More than 100 golfers from businesses across the Valley formed teams to network and raise money for scholarships.
The weather got a little wet at times but couldn't keep them down.
