Action 4 News has an update on refunds associated with the cancelled Katt Williams comedy show in Harlingen last week.
Harlingen City Attorney Roxanne Cotroneo has confirmed to Action 4 News that funds are now available to process refunds for the 6 p.m. show.
Ticketholders for that show who have already received a refund check can process it at any bank, according to Cotroneo.
She says Compass Bank has advised the city that customers will need to ask for management approval if a teller indicates the check cannot be processed.
This is because the bank is supposed to ensure refunds are only being processed for the 6 p.m. show.
Cotroneo says she’s been told refund checks for the 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. shows are expected to be released at a later time.
