The two men accused of gunning down a San Juan man inside his home have been charged with capital murder.

Action 4 News cameras rolled just before 10 p.m. Thursday when the formal charges were made.

Twenty-one year old Oscar Gomez of Mission and 29-year old Benito Rios of Rio Grande City are up against murder, evading arrest, engaging in organized criminal activity and tampering with evidence charges.

Gomez is being held on a $425,000 bond.

Rios is being held on a $1 million dollar bond.

Right now, police are still trying to find a third man in connection with the deadly shooting.

Early Wednesday morning, the three suspects reportedly burst into the home on the 2000 Block of Sunset Street, shooting the homeowner to death.

The motive is still unknown.

Investigators said the third suspect in the case surrendered to authorities at an international bridge.

He is expected to be arraigned on Friday afternoon.
