Mission police are looking for Lionel Lara.
Lara is wanted for Aggravated Robbery.
On May 3, Lara and a female accomplice were at the Home Depot store on Shary Road in Mission when they allegedly tried to steal some items.
A Loss Prevention Officer approached the female and investigators said Lara then punched the male officer.
Lara is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, roughly 200 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
He is known to be in the area of Mercedes and Weslaco.
He may be using a fake identification card under the name Perfecto Pineda, who is currently in prison.
Lara may also be traveling in a 1997 white Mercury Cougar.
If you know where to find Lara, call Mission Crime Stoppers at (956) 581-TIPS.
