Visitors to Louie's Backyard on South Padre Island will find more than just toilet paper when they go to the bathroom.

A business card advertising a “morning after” pill can also be found there.

The card advertises the drug levonorgestrel, which is marketed as "Plan B One-Step" -- the morning after pill.

Women must be 18 years or older to buy the pill.

The card includes a checklist that women can present at any local pharmacy to purchase the drug, which averages about $50 dollars.

Restaurant manager Dan Stanton would not speak on camera but told Action 4 News the restaurant was paid to put the cards there.

He said the cards would only be there during Spring Break and that the decision had nothing to do with politics.

He said it was a business decision that addresses the realities of young women.

Action 4 News contacted a company spokesperson for Plan B One Step.

The spokesperson confirmed the cards are part of a marketing promotion for the company.
