A group of Winter Texans issued a Call 4 Action after they were allegedly left at the border for more than seven hours on Monday.

The group traveled to the Mexican side of the border to see Guerrero Viejo.

The Spanish-era colonial town was flooded when Falcon Dam was built in the 1950s but has become a tourist attraction.

The group paid Winter Texan Budget Tours to see the partially-sunken town despite the violence happening in Miguel Aleman and other nearby cities.

Everything went fine on the tour but the group claims they ran into trouble when they tried coming back to the United States.

They said their bus got impounded at customs because it hadn’t passed a Texas Department of Transportation inspection.

Jan Slagle told Action 4 News that she and the others spent the night waiting on another bus.

"In a seven-hour period, we were told 15 different stories.........they just kept this up,” she said.

Action 4 News spoke to Majed Khuffash with Winter Texan Budget Tours.

He said the only bus they could get to bring the group back came all the way from Monterrey.
