HARLINGEN -- A student's life was cut short by a drunk driver.

Amber Menefee's story is one of many tragedies.

Monday night, a mobile memorial was set up outside Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen to bring awareness to a growing problem.

Texas ranks near the top when it comes to fatalities and drunk driving cases continue to increase.

The memorial brings to life the death of Amber Menefee, a young college student from Andrews, Texas.  Her car was hit by a drunk driver.

The memorial displays the horror of the crash and the outcome of those who drink and drive.
