MCALLEN -- How many times does a dirty restaurant have to be featured by the Food Patrol before the public is safe? 

If the restaurant is Shogun on 2920 North 10th Street in McAllen—try four times and counting. 

The Japanese eatery scored the most demerits so far this year with 60 on a health inspection report. 

The business remains closed.  

People who dine out may just call this latest low performer score the final straw.
