A Harlingen man is behind bars for his alleged role in a hit-and-run outside a Harlingen nightclub that left several people injured and put a woman in the hospital.
The incident took place outside Rack Daddy’s nightclub back in October.
A fight inside the club ended in the parking lot with 24-year-old mother Rosario Garza and other people being run over.
Garza was hospitalized leaving her family with costly medical bills.
Harlingen police told Action 4 News that they identified Michael Menchaca as a suspect in the case.
Officers arrested Menchaca while he was attending a funeral a Restlawn Cemetery late Thursday morning.
The Harlingen man is expected to be arraigned on Friday morning.
