Delia from San Benito is not a happy patient at Valley Diagnostic Clinic in Harlingen.
The upset clinical patient says she only wants to be referred to as only Delia.
You see the clinic closed down and her vital medical records have been locked away.
Delia told Action 4 News she received a letter stating how patients would have until October 30th to pick up their records before the clinic closed.
The only problem is Delia states they closed their doors October the 26th, a full four days before the clinic's posted closing.
“I was told here at the front door that VDC was no longer in operation they decided upon themselves to close their doors earlier than October 30th,” said Delia.
Now she says she's been told all her records were in the process of being transferred to Valley Baptist Medical Center and that it could take up to 6 months to get them back.
Delia called Action 4 News for help and we went looking for answers.
We spotted several employees at the building, one even admitted to us the records were still in-house.
So we asked how long it would take for patients to receive them, the employee said “I have no idea how long its going to take”.
The employee later told us patients should receive their medical records within 90 days but offered no further details.
Delia explains at this point “I just want my medical chart, I just want my medical chart just like everybody else does."
According to an employee at the facility they have about 200-thousand medical records they need to distribute.
We also contacted Valley Baptist to get their side of the story they tell us they have not received any medical from VDC.
