EDINBURG, TEXAS -- A Hidalgo County jury sentenced a woman to two years in jail Friday for a deadly accident that killed a high school coach in the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District.

The sentencing comes one day after the jjury found Analisa Ayala guilty of negligent homicide for the February crash that lead to the death of Josie Ayala.

Josie and Analisa are not related.

Prosecutors had asked for jail time because Analisa Ayala had already been on probation for a prior theft charge.
