Anzalduas bridge gets highway funds

Millions of dollars are coming to the City of Mission for a highway project to connect the Anzalduas International Bridge.

City leaders were joined by Texas State Sen. Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa to announce $21 million dollars in state funds.

Leaders told Action 4 News that the money would go to link the Anzalduas bridge with U.S. Expressway 83.

Authorities said the roads and bridge will stimulate the economy of the region.
