The Hidalgo County Clerk's office is offering support to Rio Grande Valley servicemen and women.

Over the past six years, the clerk's office has displayed hundreds of photos of active soldiers and marines in their office.

They recently renovated the "Wall of Pride" and the office is asking valley families for pictures of their heroes in light of Veterans Day.

"We are so pleased that so many photos have come through here in the past several years, and it's very touching," explained Annette Muñiz, the Deputy Chief in the Hidalgo County Clerk's Office.  "People come by here, stop and take the time to look at the photos and see the faces of these people that are doing this for our country.  We include their name, we include their rank and we include their hometown."

Valley resdients can send or drop off photos to the Hidalgo County Clerk's Office at 100 North Closner Blvd. in Edinburg, Texas, 78540.

Pictures can also be sent via e-mail to: acmuniz@hidalgocountyclerk.us.
