Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office investigators released news details to identify a woman whose body was found on Wallace Road last week.

Investigators are hoping someone can help identify her by her clothing.

The woman’s body was found with a red T-shirt with yellow stars.

The middle-aged Hispanic woman was wrapped in a comforter when she was discovered by a maintenance worker last Wednesday.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño said the body appeared to have been there for 24 hours.

"Autopsy results show that there’s absolutely no physical trauma that could have caused her death and we're awaiting toxicology reports to see if there's anything in her system that was injected or ingested or maybe a natural death,” Treviño said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office at (956) 668-TIPS (8477).
