PHARR, TEXAS -- Administrators with the Pharr San Juan Alamo Independent School District said an afterschool fight at PSJA North High School on Tuesday was not gang related.

Principal Narciso Garcia said media reports that claimed there was a gang fight are incorrect.

The school district also disputed claims that someone was taken to the hospital.

"I don't know where those reports came from.  The scuffle was just a miscommunication between siblings," said Garcia.

He also said no weapons were used in the fight.

According to Pharr police, four underage teenagers and two adults were arrested.
