The records have been combed through and now it’s the moment food patrol fans have been waiting for. 

The year 2008 will go down in the history books as a year of incredible highs and lows at Rio Grande Valley restaurants. 

During Action 4 News' second annual "Food 4 Thought: Year In Review" showcase, the Food Patrol bestows the best of the best with the brand new “Golden Plate Award”. 

It’s the ultimate sign of kitchen cleanliness.
