Controversy has stemmed from a new breast-feeding doll that could hit the U.S. market.
The doll was manufactured by Spanish toy-maker, Berjan, and it’s intended to help promote breast-feeding and express its natural process.
The plastic infant comes with a nursing bra, so when the doll is placed close to the bra, it makes a sucking sound.
However, some are appalled that it’s targeting little girls.
One mother, Christina Rivera, says “She’s a child. She needs to stick with playing with toys that are not like that. It’s just not right.”
The doll is currently only sold in Spain.
But according to reports, the controversial toy will probably be marketed in the U.S. next year and may be sold at Wal-Mart.
