While the 8th-ranked Pharr Valley View boys soccer team staged an amazing comeback win over Dripping Springs at the 4A regional semifinals in Corpus Christi, the Los Fresnos girls fell to San Antonio Johnson in the Falcons' 3rd appearance at the 5A regional tournament in the past 4 seasons.
