Tuesday, November 15, 2011  The job opening for superintendent was posted Friday but tonight The Brownsville Independent School District in a 5 to 2 vote named a lone finalist for Superintendent of Schools at their Board of Trustees meeting. The district offered the top spot to District Interim Superintendent, Dr. Carl Montoya.
