As months turn into years, ‘Maria’ still holds out hope that her daughter Jessica Solis Lozano is alive.
‘Maria’ asked that Action 4 News not reveal her identity for hers and her grandchildren’s protection.
“I’m not going to give up,” Maria said. “I hope that she's still alive."
What keeps her going is Jessica’s two young children.
Both are left to wonder if their mother will ever come home.
"Her kids ask for her every day."
‘Maria’ told Action 4 News that Jessica and her boyfriend boarded a plane to Toluca, Mexico back in July of 2011.
Records showed that Jessica got on the plane, arrived in Toluca, and even checked into her hotel.
Maria said she even spoke to her daughter within that time period.
But then, Jessica vanished.
"I know she made it there, I know she was in the hotel, and I know she ordered breakfast,” Maria said. “That's it. The breakfast was never eaten."
Four months after Jessica went missing her credit card was used to buy a plane ticket to Chihuahua.
That ticket was not purchased by Jessica and no one could tell ‘Maria’ who bought the ticket.
Maria told Action 4 News that she is running out of options.
"I just want someone to help us,” She pleaded. “It's been two years and no one can give me any indication of what happened to my daughter."
If anyone has information on Jessica’s whereabouts they are asked to call the FBI at (210) 225-6741.
