Four $1 million dollar Powerball winners sold in Texas

Texas Lottery Commission officials have confirmed that four $1 million dollar Powerball winners were sold in the Lone Star State.

According to the Powerball website, two tickets with the winning numbers 5-16-22-23-29 and Powerball 6 were sold: one in Arizona and the other in Missouri.

The two winners will have to split the $550 million dollar jackpot.

But the Texas Lottery Commisson has confirmed on its website that four $1 million dollar tickets were sold in Texas.

The four tickets matched the five lucky numbers 5-16-22-23-29 but did not get the winning Powerball number 6.

According to the Texas Lottery Commission website, the four tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Timewise Food Store at 7501 FM 1960 in Humble
• 7-Eleven off at 5123 West Lovers Lane in Dallas
• Frio City Food Mart at 707 Frio City Road in San Antonio
• Stop By Market at 4040 Boone Road in Houston

The winning tickets sold in Humble and Houston were reported to be quick picks.

Powerball is a multi-state lottery played in Texas and 32 other states.
