In an effort to help promote health and wellness here in the Rio Grande Valley, the Junior League of Harlingen has an exciting event coming up on Saturday, Jan. 26.
Liz Phillips and Gina Cano-Monreal talked more about the 'South Texas Sizzler' on Action 4 Sunrise.
The 5k and 10k run is not only part of their initiative towards a healthier community, but also kicks off their exciting new program called, "Kidfit."
It will be held at the Harlingen Soccer Complex beginning at 7 a.m. There is a $25 fee for those who weren't able to sign up early.
