If you're from the valley, you know how quickly people step up to help others.

It was no different for our annual Share Your Christmas event.
           
From HEB Plus in Mission to Harlingen down to HEB Plus in Brownsville, our crews joined the Food Bank RGV and the US Marines Toys 4 Tots program to rally for donations for the holiday season.
           
Within a few minutes of starting the Share Your Christmas event non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys began pouring in to all of the locations.
           
Schools came out in a big way as they do every year and local organizations like the Harlingen National Bronco Baseball and Softball League brought in monetary donations for the cause.
           
Toys will be distributed on the 23rd just in time for Christmas and the food will feed families in the valley this month and in the months to come.
