Santa Claus makes early pit stop in Valley

Santa Claus made an early appearance in the Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday evening.

It’s only 20 days until Christmas but Santa appeared at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

The hospital hosted its sixth annual "Community Christmas" celebration and is inviting all Valley children, women, and men to join in.

The party was celebrated with free food and Christmas carols from several school choirs and bands as well as music by UTB’s Mariachi Ensemble.
