The Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash in Edinburg.

DPS troopers told Action 4 News the driver of a Chevrolet Impala failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of FM 2812 and Brushline Road.

This caused the car to slam into a motorcycle traveling Westbound on FM 2812.

The 20-year-old was taken to McAllen Medical where he later died.

The driver of the Impala was not injured in the crash.

It remains under investigation.
