Chase places Mission High School, Junior High under lockdown

Authorities temporarily placed both Mission High School and Junior High under lockdown following a police chase through the area.

Mission CISD officials confirmed the lockdowns shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

School district officials said made the decision after learning about the chase.

Details about the chase were not immediately available.

School district officials reported that the lockdown was lifted around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

No injuries were reported at either school.
