Action 4 has learned Waldo Sanchez, the man who allegedly brutally beat his own wife with a wooden baseball bat has turned himself in.

San Juan police confirmed with Action 4, it happened early Thursday morning.

Sanchez was on the run for a couple of days after police received reports that on a drunken outrage, he beat his wife leaving her with broken bones and bruises all over her body.

Police said he apparently got jealous over text messages his wife received on her birthday.

Officers had already raided two homes looking for him and the U.S. Marshals were joining in on the effort.

Sanchez is facing one felony count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
