27-year-old Brent Escamilla
Harlingen police arrest a man for allegedly beating up a woman.
According to officers they arrived at the 900 block of Colorado Street and made contact with a woman who was crying.
She had visible injuries to her face and neck.
The victim told police that 27-year-old Brent Escamilla, assaulted her after arguing over cell phones.
According to her, Escamilla punched her on the left side of her face and then grabbed her by her hair and neck.
The victim said she managed to get away from Escamilla and ran outside to a neighbor’s house and called police.
Escamilla was arrested and charged with assault family violence. Bond was set at $6,200
