As students and teachers returned to school this week, in light of Friday’s school shooting in Connecticut, school districts around the valley are re-evaluating their emergency procedures and security systems.

A report of an unknown man taking pictures of students outside sparks increased security at Ruben Hinojosa Elementary School in the Sharyland ISD but the district's action did not include alerting school parents and that has a father of 2 girls who walk home from the school very concerned.
