Dallas Cowboys fans rejoice! Southwest Airlines is adding two daily non-stop flights from the Rio Grande Valley to Dallas.

The new flights between Harlingen's Valley International Airport (VIA) and Dallas Love Field are expected to start on November 4th.

According to VIA officials, the daily flights from Harlingen to Dallas will be at 7 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. each day.

Return flights from Dallas to Harlingen will be at 9:30 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. each day.

Current airline passengers from the Valley must make a stop in Houston before continuing on to Dallas.

The new flights will eliminate that stop.

Southwest Airlines figures show that Houston is the number one destination for Valley residents but Dallas is second.
