If you've been to Port Isabel recently, then you've noticed that the town's Whataburger has moved.

The original location off Highways 100 and 48 closed and moved down the street.

Whataburger has opened a new restaurant with a new look next to the Port Isabel WalMart.

The store opened with a soft launch back on November 14th.

But now, company officials are hosting a grand opening pachanga from 5 to 8 p.m. this Wednesday.

The restaurant will be hosting a big party where $500 dollars will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Madre.

A special drawing will be held where 15 lucky customers will win FREE Whataburger for a year.

Whataburger has more than 40 restaurants in the Rio Grande Valley.
