Action 4 News officially has some new neighbors that have moved in off Expressway 83 in Harlingen.

The new Bert Ogden Hyundai dealership held its grand opening on Thursday evening.

Hundreds showed up for the event and to take a look at all the new cars.

Owner Robert Vackar spoke to Action  4 News.

He said the new dealership is a sign that the Rio Grande Valley economy is going strong.

“Car sales are strong in the Valley and in Harlingen, they’re really strong,” Vackar said.

Vackar told Action 4 News that new location will expand in October by adding a Chrysler/Jeep dealership.

The Kia dealership in downtown Harlingen is expected to move to the new Expressway 83 location in December.
