A 19-year-old was arrested for threatening her dad and cutting him with a pocket knife.

Viviana Figueroa was arguing with her father at their home on Normandy Street.

Brownsville Police told Action 4 News that the teen wanted to borrow the family’s car.

When her father refused, that’s when she took out the knife and threatened to hurt him.

The father was able to take the knife away, but was cut on his hand in the process.

He called police on his daughter and she was taken to the City Jail.

She faces aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
