Authorities are investigating an accident involving a pickup truck and a school bus carrying 17 students to their classes.
It all happened off Highway 100 and FM 803 just east of Los Fresnos around 8:17 a.m. Thursday.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers are investigating the accident.
Investigators told Action 4 News that the driver of a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck ran a red light and hit a Los Fresnos CISD school bus.
State troopers reported that neither the driver nor 17 students the bus were injured in the accident.
But investigators said the driver of the pickup truck and passenger were taken to the Valley Baptist Medical Center where they were listed in stable condition.
State troopers cited the driver of the pickup truck for disregarding a red light.
