La Rosita fatal wreck leaves 1 dead, 4 others injured

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal accident in La Rosita that occurred late Tuesday night.
State troopers told Action 4 that a BMW carrying a mother and daughter from McAllen, were traveling Eastbound on U.S. 83. when a Ford pickup driving on the wrong side of the road struck them.
The impact caused the pickup to rollover several times ejecting a 19-year-old female passenger.
Investigators said that driving the Ford pickup was a 24-year-old male carrying the ejected passenger and a 15-year-old male from Roma.
According to troopers, 51-year-old Maria Guadalupe Aguilar-Flores was inside the BMW and died at scene. Both she and her 21-year-old daughter were said to have been wearing their seat belts.
The 21-year-old daughter with the two of the people in the pickup truck are listed in critical condition at the McAllen Medical Center.
State troopers reported that the 19-year-old woman ejected from truck is listed in stable condition.
