Business Type:
Representatives with Cazares Driving School are hosting a special chatroom to answer your questions about defensive driving and getting your teen their first driver's license at 5 pm on Wednesday, December 8th.
Question What is your premier service? Answer We offer the following Texas State Licensed Programs: Driver Education for Teens and Adults Defensive Driving for Ticket Dismissal and Insurance discount. Question What is the most common question customers have about your business (e.g. flowers, auto parts, estate planning)? Answer At what age can a teen start driver education?
A teen can start the classroom phase of driver education at 14 but must be fifteen to get his permit and begin the driving phase. Therefore most students begin the course at age 15.
How long is the program?
The program consists of 32 hours of classroom instruction (16 days / 2 hrs per day), 7 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, 7 hours of in-car observation, and 20 additional hours of driving (10 hours at night). The contract with us is open for one year although a student can get his/her license if they have completed the program, have had the instruction permit for at least 6 months, and be at least 16 years old….so someone coming in right at 15 years of age will have to hold on to the permit until age 16. Question What is the one thing you would like potential customers to know about your business? Answer We are here to answer your questions as a private driving school. Question What sets your business part from your competition? Answer We are an instructor training school. We have our own state approved instructor training program. We hand-pick potential instructors and once they complete our training program, they become state licensed driver education teachers and teaching assistants. We currently have 18 teachers on staff including 3 masters prepared educators. Question Why is it important to customers that they think about the product or service you offer? (before they need it) Answer You simply cannot put a price on the importance of quality driver education training for your child. We are proud to say that that our own instructors have brought their own children through our program here at Cazares Driving School which speaks well of our school. Question What can happen to customers who neglect the product or service you offer? (e.g. old tires, poor estate planning, dying plants, over-paying for travel) Answer Because there are novice drivers on the road every day, it is so important for teens as well as adults to have training in safety and basic collision avoidance. Question Why is it valuable to customers to get to know you and your staff? (build a relationship) Answer Our staff is very knowledgeable and here to answer your questions.
The process of the teen driving program is new to many parents especially if this is their first child getting a license. We have developed a few instruction sheets to help with the process. As for driving skills, as a student progresses through our program, we communicate to parents the skills in which each student needs help building and make suggestions along the way. Our goal is for every student that completes our program to be an absolute safe driver. Question What do you contribute to your community? (Charity work, environmentally friendly products, employment, etc.) Answer Our classroom instruction informs students of their many choices and decisions as up and coming drivers - purchasing environmentally friendly cars, recycling oil and tires, disposing of electronics safely, and investigating fuel and/or power resources of the future. Question What do customers need to know before they come in or call you? Answer A sixteen-year-old student is allowed to obtain a driver's license by completing the state's requirements through a bonded driving school. We understand that teens are busy but once they complete our 16 day classroom course the driving hours are done by appointment around their schedule, so it is best to get started on the program as soon as possible.
We offer many different course options to accommodate our teens. Question What services do you offer that many people don't know about? Answer We offer the 6 hour Adult Driver Education Course for 18-24 year olds to get license. It is required by the state and recommended for those over 24 as well. For the convenience of our customers, we offer this course daily!
We also offer Defensive Driving for Insurance Discount to businesses as well as CPR and First Aid Training to businesses and groups of individuals.
