Nutty Coconut Dream Bars (Easy & Very Popular)

1 stick melted butter

1 cup crushed graham crackers

1 1/3 cup shredded coconut

6 or 8 oz. chocolate chips*

6 or 8 oz. butterscotch chips*

14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk

1 ½ cups of chopped pecans or chopped walnuts

Layer #1: Place melted butter into a 9”x13” baking pan

Layer #2: Place crushed graham crackers evenly over the butter

Layer #3: Sprinkle shredded coconut over the graham crackers

Layer #4: layer chocolate chips

Layer #5: layer butterscotch chips

Layer #6: Pour sweetened condensed mil evenly over the top of the other layers

Layer #7: Evenly spread chopped nuts

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 – 35 minutes; it will be bubbly and very slightly brown around the edges. As soon as you remove the pan from oven, run a spatula or knife around the edges as it is very hart to cut as it cools.

After 10 – 15 minutes, cut into squares and refrigerate pan till completely cool, then remove squares.

*You can experiment with different flavors of baking chips. White chocolate tastes great! Peanut butter chips go well with chocolate, etc.
